Saturday, March 15th--French toast bar 11am-1pm,
pick from vanilla, caramel, chocolate, not to mention all the other Torani flavors we carry. 2 slices of heaven, just $3.00

Sunday, March 16th--Celebrate some St. Patty's Day fun here,
we'll be open from 11am-4pm, with a special extended pancake bar from 11am-3pm.

We'll also have mimosas from 12-3pm, and live music with The Jim Dandies, and Jammie Tvrdovsky from 2-4pm.


















Check out other businesses all over Bellevue--they'll have special events going on from 12-4pm too!

So, yesterday I made a split pea and rice soup that is quite tasty, although somewhat lacking in character. (as in, it's not spicy at all, but I had a request for a mild soup, so don't blame me.) It has mushroom, frozen peas, and onion in it too, so let us know if you have any allergies we should watch out for.
Probably tomorrow or Thursday I'll be making a potato and leek soup, but I'm still looking for a recipe. I've never made that before, so I need a little guidance.
There are a few pieces of mixed veggie quiche left, plus don't forget we've usually got some savory grilled cheese sandwiches available for only $1.50 . Right now it's a sun-dried tomato and basil bread with mozzarella.
As for paninis, right this second there's only some pepperoni with bacon and pepperjack, and the vegetarian one is eggplant with fresh mozz and sun-dried tomato. I plan on doing some sort of chicken mushroom melt panini later today once I get the bread in, so come check it out some time after 12 or so.

Things are moving smoothly here at the Big Red A. The new menu board is gone, but an even better one will soon be arriving!
Hopefully I'll have travel mugs and t-shirts available very soon, and the panini selection has been even more delicious than usual, lately.
Also, (VERY EXCITING) I'm making soups again! It's the season, and at the moment there is a lentil and onion (no meat for you veggie-types) soup available, and there will be more fun things to try later this week. Keep checking back, I will keep you updated.

it's just embarrassing.

So sorry for the ridiculous delay, folks.
At long last, here is an update about what's going on here at Affogato.
First of all, we have a new menu board and display case and the place is looking great! We also built some bookshelves along the front wall and all the books on them are for sale, so please stop in and browse the collection.
We're still doing live music on Friday nights, the BYOB bar on Saturdays, and the pancake bar on Sundays. (there's really no excuse for you to have not tried the pancakes yet. they're fantastic.)
Comedy and Open Mic nights still alternate on Wednesday eves, tonight is a comedy night, and we're also trying to step up the movie night action, so tomorrow we'll be showing Dead Again in the backyard at 8pm sharp. It's a blast watching a movie outside so don't miss out!
For paninis today we have artichoke salad, roast beef with pepperjack, and bacon with feta and sun-dried tomatoes. There are also the usual sides, hummus and pita, grape leaves, etc. So come on by and eat something tasty and hang out with Victoria tonight! I'll try to get some pictures posted so you can see some of the changes.

Whoopee! the Treehouse is open!
